This Privacy Policy explains what information Woddle Cards ("we", "us", the "app") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your first name, last name, email address, and phone number, along with a password (stored only as a secure hash — we never store your plain-text password).
- Marketing consent (optional). At sign-up you may opt in to be contacted by email or phone with updates, promotions, and news. This is entirely optional and you can opt out at any time.
- Profile & gameplay data. Your in-game nickname, the sex you select (used to place you in the correct leaderboard category), your chosen avatar, and the workouts, games, reps, times, and stats you generate while using the app.
- Purchase information. If you subscribe to Woddle Pro, we receive your subscription status from Apple and our payments provider (RevenueCat) so we can unlock paid features. We do not receive or store your credit-card or payment-card numbers — those are handled entirely by Apple.
- Technical data. Our servers keep basic operational logs (such as the request method, path, and response status) to keep the service running and secure.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and operate your account and provide the app's features.
- To show leaderboards, save your workout history, and sync your games.
- To process and manage subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- To contact you for service-related reasons, and — only if you opted in — for marketing communications.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the service.
Marketing Communications
We only send marketing messages if you opted in. You can opt out at any time by contacting us at support@woddlecards.com or by using the unsubscribe option in any marketing message.
Purchases & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We use RevenueCat as our subscription-management provider to verify and record your entitlement. Their handling of payment data is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
How We Share Information
- Service providers. We share limited data with providers who operate the service on our behalf — notably RevenueCat (subscription management) and Apple (in-app purchases).
- We do not sell your personal information.
- No cross-app tracking. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete Account) or from our public account & data deletion page, which works even without the app installed. When you delete your account we remove or anonymize your personal information — including your name, email, and phone number — so it can no longer be used to identify or sign in as you. Some non-identifying records (such as anonymized historical game results) may be retained, and we may retain limited information where required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email us at support@woddlecards.com.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means.
